I can't believe I am just now blogging about this because when I saw the Kroger ad on Wednesday, I felt like it was my birthday!!! How many of you were so excited for the MEGA SALE event!?!?! Our Texas Kroger is once again having a buy 10 participating items and save $5 event! These are so awesome because it is like saving an extra $0.50 off each items sale price. It usually doesn't get lower that that! So, here are a few of the things I wanted to get out there for you all in case I don't get a complete list out. I am not going to have time to post links, so you can go to hip2save.com 's coupon database and search for these if you don't know where they are. My mom is in town and we have been having lots of fun, so I apologize for any of you who have been checking the blog, I will try to post a message when I know I will be neglecting this for a while from now on. OK, so here are the items I got for a STEAL today!!
1. Kraft Phillie cream cheese $0.99*
use the awesome $5/5 coupon
= 5 for free!!
(these freeze really well!!)
2. Nabisco to go packs oreos, chips ahoy etc... $0.50*
use $1/2 coupon
= 2 for free!!
(OR you can get the full size packages of Oreos which are $2.19 after the mega sale, use the $1/2 coupon, and load the $1/2 coupon which is only for the full size and get them for about $1 a pack)
3. Kraft mac and cheese cups $0.50*
load $1.00 off four from Krogers website
= $1 for FOUR
4. Mariuchan noodles $88
use $0.50 doubled
= FREE
5. Mahatma rice mixes $0.80
use $0.50/1 coupon
= FREE
6. Kraft BBQ sauce $0.50*
= $0.50!! this is a great filler item if you need a few more to get to ten since you don't need a coupon and its a great price alone!
7. Stonyfield farm yogurt $1.50
use $1/1 coupon
- $0.50
I also saw a TON of manager specials today when I was in there and a lot matched up with the coupons, making them free or better than free (like brie, yogurt, and bread). I have noticed that Kroger has been putting their milk on manager special a lot lately and it is still like 10 days from the date which I think is wierd considering I've paid $5 for a gallon of milk at a gas station that expires the next day! lol...so keep an eye out for that. I just got a gallon for $1.50 and it has over a week till expiration. Milk in our house has about a 2-3 day shelf life, so we're good there! If you don't know what manager specials are, they are the orange stickers that Kroger uses when they need to move products because of overstocking or expiration dates. I hope you all get a chance to get out there and get your free stuff!! Take Care!!
