This is going to be a super quick post while I look for coupons for what I'm going to pricematch at Wal Mart this week.

From Food Town:
1) Land O' Frost Deli Shaved Ham or Turkey 9 oz $1.49
use $1/2 coupon HERE
= $0.99
2) Borden Cheese $1.88
3) Hass Avocados 3 for $1.00

From Kroger:
1) Cuties 3 pound bag $3.49
2) Progresso Soup 8 for $10
use $1.25 off 4 HERE or HERE for light varities
= $0.94 each

From Randalls:
last time I was in Wal Mart they did not price match the in ad coupons in the Randalls ad, which is how most of the Randalls sales are presented.  It states in their policy that they should, but if the employees don't know that it doesn't matter. So, I'm leary of trying again. I think its worth trying for one deal though.
Healthy Choice Meals $2.00
use $0.75 off one Baked variety HERE
= $1.25 each

have a great weekend all!! =-)

The New Deal: Price matching at Wal-Mart

I've been struggling with Couponing lately. No stores double any more except Randall's (and that's only the first coupon so no stockpiling on cheap/free items which is essential to real savings). It also seems like coupons have gotten worse and sales are not as good. Or is it just me? So, I have resorted to not getting my papers anymore and just buying generic, which is totally fine. But even generic is never free! So, in an effort to get my "free fix" on, I began to price match at Wal Mart and print what coupons I can. I figured I would share this with whoever reads my blog. The cool thing about this, is that now anyone can do exactly what I am doing since there is no collecting an organizing coupons. We will see how this goes! :) so, I am Pricematching to the four stores that I get ads for: Kroger, Randall's, HEB, Food Town. Here is what I will be price matching at Wal Mart this week:

Kroger:
- Red seedless grapes $1.00/ pound
- Bell Peppers $1.00 each
- Healthy Choice Frozen Entrees $1.20 - $0.75 printable HERE = $0.45
- Jennie-O Turkey Franks $1.00 - $1.00 printable HERE = FREE

Food Town:
- 8 oz package mushrooms $0.88
- Red Gold Tomato Sauce 4/$1.00 - $1 off 4 coupon HERE = FREE
- General Mills cereal $1.99 - up to $0.75 HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE or HERE = $1.24
- Kraft Mac & Cheese $0.66

HEB:
- large naval oranges $0.77/pound
- Mama Rose's pizzas $0.50
- Heinz Ketchup 32 oz $1.00
- Colgate toothpaste $0.99 - $1.00 HERE, HERE, or HERE = FREE

Randall's:
- Kellogs cereal $1.99 - up to $0.75 HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE or HERE = $1.24
- 5 pound bag Russet Potatoes $0.99
- Kens salad dressing $1.19
- weight watchers smart ones $1.50 - $5/10 HERE, HERE, or HERE = $1.00

My favorite Wal Mart health food

This is not a joke. Although I can understand how you could think that, given The way Wal Mart is portrayed at times. Sure there is tons of crap food there, but once I began reading labels, I found out there is some pretty great stuff there for about half the cost of a health food store.

These are some my favorite! My general guidelines are whole foods, 3 ingredients or less, and ingredients that I could buy at a normal store if I were to make it from scratch. I used to love their 6 pack of single applesauce for $1.50 because the ingredients were literally apples and water, but I just read the one I bought and it has high fructose corn syrup listed as well :-/ hopefully I just got the wrong kind and I can find the good stuff next time-keep an eye out for that!

Ok, on to the pic:
1) Organic Baby Spinach $2.98
2) 100% grape juice $2.50
3) plantains with sea salt $2.88
4) 25 oz natural peanut butter $2.98
5) 100% whole grain oats $1.00

I know not everyone agrees what "healthy" is, but these make my list almost every time I hit up crazy town (Wal Mart). And, of course all the produce prices that you can price match to whatever ANY store is having each week! Happy shopping!! :)
